This floating anti-swell boom comprises a chain formed by concrete boxes C1, C2... Cn arranged end to end and having a draft of between 0.50 m and 1.80 m. Each box C1 has means for absorbing tidal lift 6, 12, 9 arranged under a tunnel and is articulated to the next box C2 by a middle bar 13 and by two guards either side of the said bar. The boxes have a draft of between 0.50 m and 1.80 m and their relative density is approximately 0.730. <IMAGE>
