PURPOSE:To provide a battery having good quality and high production efficiency by wrapping power generating elements by doubling a piece of high molecular film on which an anode current collector and a cathode current collector are arranged. CONSTITUTION:An anode current collector 2 and a cathode current collector 3 are arranged on a piece of high molecular film 1. The high molecular film 1 is doubled along a folding line 5 so that power generating elements of an alkaline battery constructed by stacking an anode active material 6, an electrolyte absorbent material 7 containing alkaline electrolyte, a separator 8,and a cathode active material 9 are placed between the anode current collector 2 and the cathode current collector 3. Among the opening, the side a which lead terminals are located is bonded with adhesives, and other sides b are welded with an ultrasonic welder, then they are cut along cutting lines to obtain a plurality of batteries. |
