PURPOSE:To facilitate the operability of an independent power generator type electric motor car by driving a generator by an engine installed on the vehicle, and driving a drive motor in normal or reverse direction by the output of the generator as well as stopping the motor. CONSTITUTION:A generator 3 is driven by an engine 2, and the output of the generator 3 is rectified by a rectifier 5. The normal, reverse revolution and stoppage of a motor 1 are controlled by the operations of a switch 7 and electromagnectic brake 8. The excess power in the generator 3 is stored in a battery 6. |
