PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low calorie gas burner device in which burning quality of fuel is made superior without increasing an air ratio in respect to fuel.SOLUTION: A burner device arranged at a throat of a wall surface of a furnace 3 is provided with: a primary air transferring pipe 21 for use in transferring primary air for combustion; a swirler 25 arranged at an outlet part of the primary air transferring pipe 21, having a shape widened toward the furnace 3 and giving a turning action to the air injected from the primary air transferring pipe 21 to the furnace 3; a fuel transferring pipe 29 for transferring low calorie gas fed from a direction crossing at a substantially right angle with an axis of the primary air transferring pipe 21 and turning around an outer circumference of the primary air transferring pipe 21; a secondary air transferring pipe 33 arranged at an outer circumference of the fuel transferring pipe 29 to transfer the secondary air for combustion; and an air register 41 arranged in the secondary air transferring pipe 33 to give turning action to the secondary air fed into the secondary air transferring pipe 33. Mixing of low calorie gas fuel, primary air and secondary air is promoted to improve burning quality and short flame formation is also established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
