Provided is a process method for fabricating a liquid crystal display device, comprising: fixing a substrate glass (10) onto a support means (20) (S102); processing the substrate glass (10) to obtain an array substrate (S103); joining the array substrate and a color filter substrate (S104); injecting liquid crystal into the gap between the array substrate and the color filter substrate (S105); sealing the liquid crystal to form a liquid crystal cell (S106); separating the substrate glass (10) from the support means (20) (S107). The method eliminates the need for a process to make a thin-glass substrate after fabricating the liquid crystal cell, thus the production process is simplified.
