PURPOSE:To obtain a microencapsulated toner also having fixability on its outer wall by using an epoxy urea resin or epoxy urethane resin as a part of the outer wall. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy urea resin or epoxy urethane resin is used as a resin for constituting the outer wall of a microencapsulated toner contg. a prssure- fixable material as a core material and a colorant. This resin is obtained by reacting urea and a polyvalent isocyanate compd. as the material of a urethane resin and an epoxy resin prepolymer or a compd. having an epoxy group as the material of an epoxy resin with a polyvalent amine compd. As a result, flexibility is given to the outer wall, and it has not only a protecting action of the core material but also an action of fixation, and the obtained microcapsule type toner is high in charge controllability. |
