NOVEL YARN AND FABRIC FORMED THEREFROM There is disclosed a composite yarn having lengthwise tensile strength and transverse resiliency. The yarn comprises a high tensile strength core yarn covered by an elastomeric filament. The yarn is useful to prepare compressible fabrics and is particularly useful for the making of papermaker's wet press felts.
