PICKING UP DEVICE FOR INJECTION MOLDING

PURPOSE:To enable an easy picking up of molding between platens even where the ceiling is very low by providing a traverser slidably on a traverse base provided horizontally on a fixed platen and a chuck mechanism movably both in the vertical and horizontal ways. CONSTITUTION:A traverse base 5 is fastened horizontally on the top of a fixed platen 3 of an injection molding machine through a block 4 while traverse cylinders 8 and 9 are fastened on the traverser 6 provided slidably thereon and on the traverse base 5 above the fixed platen 3 respectively and the tips of the piston shafts 8a and 9a thereof are connected to each other. A hold plate 63 is provided movably at the right angle to the traverse direction and horizontally with an air cylinder provided in the frame 62 of the traverse base 6 and a vertically movable cylinder 64 extendable vertically is provided on the hold plate 63. A chuck mechanism 7 is provided at the tip of the piston shaft thereof toward the platen 3 through a rod 65.
