PURPOSE:To prevent exactly combustion of a copy form due to an irradiation of heat when a paper jam has occurred, by constituting so that the irradiation of a radiant heat is changed to a part except a copy form by changing an attitude of a radiant heat guide mirror being independent from a heat source. CONSTITUTION:A copy form 4 discharged from a transfer part is carried into a radiant type picture fixing device 1 from a transport belt 17. When the copy form 5 goes into a fixing part, a sensor detects it and inputs a detecting signal to a control part 16, and the control part 16 drives a heat source 2 through a heat source driving circuit 18. As a result, the heat source 2 is operated and starts to radiate a heat energy, and a radiant heat of the heat source 2 irradiates the copy form 5 through an opening part 8b of a mirror 9 from an opening part 8a of a mirror 7, and heats and fixes an unfixed image by a toner. On the other hand, when a paper jam of the copy form 5 occurs, and the copy form 5 is left, a timer becomes time-up, an actuator 11 is driven through an actuator driving circuit 19, and an attitude of the mirror 9 is controlled against a spring 21. |
