摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment for collimating semiconductor laser light by providing the 1st lens group which is so arranged fixedly as to position the focus away from the light emission position of a semiconductor laser and the 2nd lens group which is movably in the optical-axis direction and so adjusted that the focus coincides with the virtual focusing point of the laser light by the 1st lens group. CONSTITUTION:The 1st lens group I is inserted as a unit from the left of a holder 1 to about on a partition wall, and fixed. A base plate 3 where the semiconductor laser 2 is fixed is fixed to the holder 1 while facing the 1st lens group I . On the other hand, a long-sized groove 1b is cut in the optical-axis direction on the left-hand side of the holder 1, and a cylindrical lens base 4 for holding the 2nd lens group II is fitted in the right side of the holder 1; and a screw 5 implanted in a lens base 4 projects from the long-sized groove 1b, and a nut 6 engages the screw 5 threadably. This constitution fixes the semiconductor laser 2 and the 1st lens group I , but they are not in designed position relation owing to manufacture errors of parts. For the purpose, the 2nd lens group II is moved from a reference position for a shift extent (a) and focal length (f) to make a correction.
