PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fabric having a uniform covering layer simply and efficiently, by putting a spherical body in a tubular fabric, providing spherical body support rolls between a crosshead die and take-up mangle rolls, and covering the fabric with a resin by the crosshead die. CONSTITUTION:Use is made of a crosshead die 1 having a tubular fabric passage 2 and a melted resin passage 3 that is situated outside of the passage 2. When a tubular fabric is to be covered with a resin, a spherical body 6 is put in the tubular fabric 4, the tubular fabric is fed into the passage 2, and a melted resin is discharged from the melted resin passage 3 to provide the outside of the tubular fabric 4 with a resin covering layer 5. Then the resin-covered tubular fabric is passed through rolls 7, 7' for supporting the spherical body 6 that are situated between the crosshead die 1 and mangle rolls 8 for taking up the resin- covered tubular fabric to obtain the intended resin-covered tubular fabric 9. |
