PURPOSE:To speed up a warm-up without exerting any evil influence upon circumferential parts by covering around a fixing device which has a heat source with a heating insulator which has heat reflecting members internally. CONSTITUTION:The circumference of a heat roller 25 incorporating the heat source and a pressure roller 26 is covered with a cover 27, which consists of heat insulators 28 and 29 and heat reflecting members 30-33 provided inside of them; and the heat reflecting members 32 and 33 serve as paper guides. Therefore, heat radiation from a fixing device 17 is reduced as much as possible, the warm-up is speeded up, and no evil influence upon circumferential parts is exerted. |
