PURPOSE:To enable to keep the idling operation of an engine stable at the time when the idling speed is increased for operating an air conditioner, by correcting the base fuel injection period to increase it for a predetermined while when an air conditioner is set into operation at the tie of idling operation of an internal combustion engine for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When an air-conditioner switch 49 is turned ON, a control circuit 61 consisting of a micro-computor opens a changeover valve 14 by energizing a solenoid valve 16 and introduces the atmosphere into an intake manifold 13 for increasing the idling speed of an engine for operation of an air conditioner. In response to operation of the air conditioner, the injection quantity of fuel is increased for a predetermined while by multiplying the base injection period determined by the engine speed, pressur in an intake pipe, etc. by a correction factor for operation of the air conditioner, so as to prevent drop of the idling speed when the air conditioner is set into operation. Therefore, it is enabled to keep the idling operation stable. |
