<p>2-Imidazolylmethyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolanes, a process for their preparation, and their use as fungicides 2-Imidazolylmethyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxolanes of the formula < IMG > (I) In which R represents a grouping of the general formula < IMG > R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen or an alkyl or halogenoalkyl group, X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy, nitro or cyano group, n is 1 or 2, and Y represents an optionally substituted phenoxy or substituted phenyl group, and their physiologically acceptable acid addition salts and metal salt complexes are novel, are produced as described and find use as fungicides. 1,3-Dioxolane derivates of the formula (II) < IMG > in which R, R1 and R2 have the meanings given above, and Z represents a halogen atom or a grouping of the general formula -O-SO2-R3, wherein R3 represents a methyl or p-methylphenyl group, which are intermediates in the production of compounds of formula (I), are also novel and are prepared as described.</p> |
