PURPOSE:To detect both read-out dada and track shear data simultaneously by arranging a pair of magnetic heads forming gaps at their leading and parts and having equal electromagntic conversion characteristics adjuacently so that respective longitudinal directions are aligned on the same straight line and polarity is equal to each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cores 203, 204 having equal electromagnetic conversion characteistics are arranged adjacently so that the longitudinal directions of gaps 201, 202 formed on respective leading end parts are aligned. Individual winding 205, 206 are wound around respective cores 203, 204. The number of times of winding is usually equal and the winding directions are set up so that the characteristics of leaked magnetic flux generated in the gaps 201, 202 coincide with each other when same writing current is conducted. Writing or reading of data in/form a magnetic recording medium is executed by a pair of magnetic heads constituted of the cores 203, 204 and the windings 205, 206. |
