PURPOSE:To facilitate treatment after inspection, by using an inspection tape prepared by applying a color forming part and water repellent treatment to a substrate molded from a high-molecular material soluble in water. CONSTITUTION:An inspection tape 3 is received in the container 1 of the examination apparatus so as to be held by a first mechanism 2 and a second mechanism 4 is further received in the container 1. The inspection tape is prepared by molding a cellulose fiber being a main component by using a mixture of polyvinyl alcohols with M.W. of 5,000-100,000 as a binder. A color forming part 8 is provided so as to generate the change in color tone upon the contact with a glucose-containing solution. A water absorbing part 9 is molded so as to bring the thickness of a substrate to 1.5 times and formed so as to be contacted with the inner wall of the outlet 1' when the inspection tape 3 is dispensed through the outlet 1' from the container 1 of the inspecting apparatus as well as to be also contacted with the sensing part of a reflective type photocoupler 5 used as a means for reading the change in color tone.
