PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency by providing a half-mirror which guides light from a ferrule to a photodetecting element and light from a light emitting element to a columnar lens in a housing. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from the light emitting element 7 enters a guide fiber 23 through the half-mirror 24 and is guided through the columnar lens 16 and an optical fiber 17 to reach a plug 22. Further, the light emitted from the side of the plug 22 through the optical fiber 17, columnar lens 16, and guide fiber 23 is reflected by the half-mirror 24 to enter the photodetecting element 8. Further, the light incident from the light emitting element 7 to the guide fiber 23 is adjusted by adjusting a holding plate 5. |
