<p>The suspension comprises a cross-member (2) to be fixed to the vehicle body, two pairs of rocker arms (4) each of which has one end hinged to one end of said cross-member, two uprights (5) each of which is rigid with the journal of a wheel of the motor vehicle and is connected by a ball joint (6) to the other end of said rocker arms, and elastically deformable means (15) and damping means, (16) which are interposed between at least one of said rocker arms and said cross-member and are arranged respectively to deform elastically under the action of the loads applied to said arm and to damp the rocking motion of the arm.</p> |
