PURPOSE:To conduct an easy-to-handle test of corrosion by heating one side of a test-piece and cooling the other side. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a heating part and a cooling part and a heating body 7 is placed surrounded with a heat insulator 10, refractory material 4, and casing 1; and heated by the heating body is conducted through the test piece 8, sample fixture 9, and heat insulator 10 and absorbed by cooling water which runs in a cooling jacket 11. Further, corrosive gas flows at a constant flow rate from an intake 5 to an outlet 6 and temperature control is carried out by using a thermocouple 2. Then, the heat flux is varied by using various heat insulators 10 which differ in material and thickness and the surface temperature and ambient temperature of the test piece 8 are varied freely to obtain the easy-to-handle device. |
