Device allowing progressive pressurising of a pneumatic installation, regulation of the reduced pressure and purging of it. The positive action of a control 13 directs a small flow of pressure from the network passing through the auxiliary valve 29a held slightly open by adjustment of a screw 76a on a piston 2 which closes off the purge channel 31 via its orifice bearing on the regulating valve 29, then opens the latter. The small flow is then distributed both into the installation and onto the piston 2 which continues, as a function of the pressure rise downstream, compressing the spring 30 until it arrives at a stop on the adjusting wheel 8, which, by the intermediary of the stem 74 opens the valve 29a to full flow. The apparatus is ready to provide the pressure reducing function. A negative action on the control 13 brings about the reascent of the piston 2, complete release of the spring 30 and purging of the installation through the purge channel 31 and the silencer 63.
