The subject of the invention relates to a removable identification index which can be applied to visiting or business cards. It is constituted by a ''label'' 1 with a detachable, self-adhesive face 2 which is placed on the sector of the card where the designation of the holder or any other inscription figures, which will reappear when the movable index is peeled off by virtue of the original impression 3. It is intended to permit, by being applied to the civil, commercial or any other identification sector, to keep a self-adhesive, index which can be peeled off in order to retain on a register, notepad or another, the essential indication without having to file the visiting cards. <IMAGE>
