The invention relates to a method and device for limiting the risks of blockage in pipes comprising zones with risks of blockage, particularly pipe bends, U-turns or the like. This device is characterised in that it comprises means 6 for injecting, in the region of at least some of the zones 2 with risks of blockage, at least intermittently, an auxiliary quantity of suitable fluid 8, such as a gas, these injection means preferably comprising injection orifices 10 defined by a grate 14 at the lowest point of the pipe 1. Thus, the risks of blockage in the said zones at risk are limited or eliminated without, for all that, creating fluidised beds with harmful turbulence effects. <IMAGE>
