A harness assembly for disposable respirators and more particularly a respirator harness assembly which permits the respirator (10) to be applied without passing the harness straps (15) over the user's head and which can be readily adjusted to provide adequate tension during use and an even distribution of pressure over the entire area of the respirator in contact with the face.
