METHANE FERMENTATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To perform improved methane fermentation by effectively performing the stirring of a digestion liquid, by arranging a lower stirring blade in the vicinity of the bottom surface of a methane fermentation tank. CONSTITUTION:Garbage thrown in from a throw-in port 2 enters a methane fermentation tank 1 and contacted with a digestion liquid 3 to allow decomposi tion and gassification to advance. An upper stirring blade 5 is positioned on the surface of the digestion liquid 3 to push the surface liquid in the digestion liquid 3. The lower stirring blade 4 at the bottom surface position of the meth ane fermentation tank 1 is rotated by a motor 7 to stir the digestion liquid and sludge enclosing bacteria in the digestion liquid accumulated on the bottom surface is whirled up by a water stream while sludge is sedimented to prevent the lowering in fermentation efficiency.
