PURPOSE:To obtain high temperature, high calorific value, and high efficiency in an electric oven without shortening the life of electric heaters, by providing a group of heaters in an oven body of heat insulating structure, having an opening at the top of it, and by providing a circulating fan and a fresh air intake with which an open/close device is provided, being confronted with each other. CONSTITUTION:The opening 3 of an oven body is nearly closed by setting a cooking pan 4 on the setting position 5 of an oven body. Then a group of sheathed heaters 9 and a fan motor 20 are energized. The heated air by the heaters is sucked from an inlet 11 as shown by arrow signs A, and is diffused into the group of heaters 9 from an outlet 10 passing through a circulation passage 12. All the air is returned to the inlet 11 after passing through the group of heaters 9 without stagnating. The inlet 11 is controlled by an open/ close flap 22, and the air is forcibly cooled by circulation. With such an arrange ment, high temperature, high calorific value and high efficiency can be obtained in an electric oven without shortening the life of electric heaters. |
