PURPOSE:To obtain a microwave transmission line air-tight window with spread band by combining two dielectric plates so that the resonance condition is established in two frequencies of the operating frequency band. CONSTITUTION:A microwave 1 comes from a microwave oscillating tube (not shown in the figure) connected in a direction A and transmitted along with a waveguide line 2 in a direction B of a plasma heating device (not shown in the figure). The air-tight window C consists of dielectric plates 3, 4 bonded by soldering to the guide wall, a coolant introducing tube 5 and a discharge tube 6, the waveguide 2 is a rectangular cross section waveguide or a circular cross section waveguide and in any case, the dielectric plates 3, 4 are circumscribed with said guide. Further, either elliptic or rectangular form is used for the cross section of the waveguide, not limited to the circular form. The coolant introducing tube 5 and the discharge tube 6 introduce/discharge the coolant cooling the dielectric plates 3, 4. |
