PURPOSE:To simplify the construction while ensuring positive operation in an equipment having a water storage tank, by providing a sensor for detecting that the tank fills with water to stop the equipment in response to the output signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an equipment having a water storage tank 11, for example, dehumidifier, a detection sensor 21 is provided at the position facing the opening of the tank 11 on a case 1 to detect the water surface in the tank 11 reaching a specified level. A switch 23 to be controlled by the output signal of the detection sensor 21 is provided to start or stop the operation of the equipment through the switch 23. Then, the detection sensor 21 provides the output signal thereof to the switch 23 to stop the operation of the equipment when water in the tank 11 reaches a specified level.
