PURPOSE:To bend a shape steel with curving without deforming its sectional shape with keeping the shape steel among auxiliary member groups by overlapping plural auxiliary members of thin strip plate shape and by adhering to the shape steel with coinciding the overlapping direction with the direction of the radius of curvature from at least the side of one part at right angles with the direction of the radius of curvature of the shape steel. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary member 20 is formed in advance with deciding the width size so as to become parallel to a line E1, E2 after its assembly according to the shape of the shape steel 30 to be bent. And after the assembly it is held in a body by a fastening means 40 at around both ends of the auxiliary member 20 or proper pitch. In this case both ends of the shape steel 30 are made to project from the end part of the auxiliary member 20 and to be able to be held by a clamp device 11. The shape steel 30 and auxiliary member 20 are then bent along the peripheral edge 10A of a bending die 10 by operating hydraulic cylinder devices 5, 5 and by moving arms 1, 1' to reverse direction each other centering around the axles 3, 3' after giving a tensile force to the shape steel 30 with energizing a hydraulic cylinder device 13. |
