A terminal connection (32) in electrically heated vacuum installations for the connection of heating elements (17) which consist of graphite to metallic connecting contacts. A terminal body (29), which likewise consists of graphite, has a first contact surface (31) for current-carrying connection to the metallic connection contact which is mounted in a through hole (33). A second contact surface (35) for the current-conducting connection to the heating element (17) is furthermore provided and, finally, a wedge piece (37) which presses the heating element (17) against the second contact surface (35). In order to reduce the thermal stress on such a terminal connection and to increase its life, the wedge piece (37) is arranged according to the invention on the side (17a) of the heating element (17) facing away from the first contact surface (31). The terminal connection according to the invention is preferably used in a vacuum installation for drawing single crystals in accordance with the Czochralski process. <IMAGE>
