PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt cleaner of a belt-type filtration thickener capable of using enriched filtrate as wash water without being disturbed by scum generated in a wash water tank.SOLUTION: A belt-type filtration thickner includes a conveyor belt 16 composed of a water-permeable endless belt, enriched filtrate recovery units 20, 21 for recovering enriched filtrate separated from sludge 12 to be treated on an approach route 161 of the conveyor belt 16, a wash water tank 22 for holding the recovered enriched filtrate as wash water, and a wash water supply system 24 for spraying the wash water in the wash water tank 22 onto the belt surface on a return route 162 of the conveyor belt 16. The wash water tank 22 is equipped with agitation means 30 for crushing and agitating scum generated in the tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
