PURPOSE:To use either of a rotary type motor or a stepper motor by a simple structure by mounting a moving coil between a pair of magnets. CONSTITUTION:A pair of permanent magnets 1 are fitted at an interval on the same line of magnetic force. Stator coils 2 positioned on the same line of magnetic force are each wound on the permanent magnets 1. A moving coil 3 is arranged between the permanent magnets 1. When currents, the directions thereof alternately change, are flowed through the moving coil 3, the moving coil 3 is reciprocated vertically, and a shaft 4 fixed to the moving coil 3 turns a flywheel through a crankshaft. When stepped currents are flowed through the moving coil 3, revolution as a stepper motor is obtained.
