Compositions suitable for use in combating fungi comprise as an active ingredient a compound having the general formula: <IMAGE> or a stereoisomer thereof, wherein X is an oxygen or sulphur atom, R<1> and R<2> are each a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl or haloalkoxy group, R<3> and R<4> are each an alkyl group containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms or -NR<3>R<4> is a 5- or 6-membered, optionally substituted, heterocyclic ring. The compositions may alternatively comprise an acid addition salt of such a compound. Certain of the compounds disclosed are novel per se. |
