PURPOSE:To prevent or reduce the moisture condensate on the inner wall of a stovepipe due to the decreased temperature of combustion gas caused by heat collected by a heat exchanger, by forcibly increasing the gas temperature by opening a damper in the heat exchanger in case gas temperature adjacnet to the outlet of the heat exchanger goes lower than a specified level. CONSTITUTION:If the temperature of combustion gas 3 goes low enough to cause the moisture condensate on the stovepipe 7, the contact Ta opens to interrupt the current to the heater 14 for actuating thermal element, causing the damper 10 to open. Since the inner tube 8 is opened and the combustion gas 3 passes through the inner tube 8 without contacting the heat collecting coil 9, its heat is not taken away and the gas temperature ruduction is small. As the gas temperature rises, it is again detected by the temperature detecting element 15 to close its contact Ta, and therefore, the power supply to the heater 14 is resumed to again close the damper 10. During a period in which the damper 10 opens and closes, however, high-temperature gas is supplied to the stovepipe 7 to prevent the moisture condensate. |
