WHITE CEMENT STARTING MIXTURE

A starting mixture for use in the production of white cement comprises limestone obtained from the Mitsero and/or the Armenochorion areas of Cyprus and kaolinite obtained from the Greek islands of Milos and/or Lesbos, the starting mixture being such that it contains from 60-90% by weight of the limestone and from 10-40% by weight of the kaolinite. The starting mixture may also contain siliceous earth from Milos.
