<p>In an exercise apparatus for developing human muscles, having a rotatably mounted shaft on which there acts, on the one hand, a crank (4) which has to be moved backwards and forwards during exercising and, on the other hand, a driving device, the requirements for optimum results from exercising and for a favourable inertia behaviour can be simultaneously met if the driving device has a driving motor (10) which produces a rotary motion, preferably a slipping clutch (11) arranged on the output side of the latter and having a transmission torque that can be set by means of an angle-measuring device (19) assigned to the crank (4), and at least one centrifugal-mass arrangement containing at least one fly wheel, preferably in the form of a spur-wheel reduction gear unit (12). <IMAGE></p> |
