PURPOSE:To prevent the interior of a car from being peeped into due to mischievous operation of a door handle by lighting a key hole illuminating lamp for a specific period by means of the door handle and relighting it together with a car room illuminating lamp by means of opening operation of a door so that this state may continue for a specific period. CONSTITUTION:A door handle operation detecting part 1 is provided on the outer surface of a car in order to detect that a door handle is operated. A door key hole illuminating lamp 3 is lighted for a specific period by the first control circuit 2 on the basis of an output signal from said part 1. Then, an output signal of a door opening operation detecting part 4 is received in order to light the door key hole illuminating lamp 3 and a car room illuminating lamp 6, and the lights are controlled by the second control circuit 5 in order to maintain the lighting state for specific period after a door is closed and the output signal is ceased. Owing to the above structure, the car room illuminating lamp 6 is not lighted in the case of door handle operation possible by anyone and the car room can be prevented from being peeped into.
