<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition highly resistant to substrate staining, outstanding in both printability and gloss, capable of giving printed works free from piling development, by incorporating the ink base with an urethane- modified petroleum resin prepared by reaction between isocyanate compound and hydroxyl group-contg. modified petroleum resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) the ink base with (B) for example, pref. 10-45wt% of an urethane-modified petroleum resin prepared by reaction for 2hr following gradually dropping an isocyanate compound (pref. of 4-40C) at 160-210 deg.C in a nitrogen atmosphere in the presence of mineral oil, into a hydroxyl group-contg. modified petroleum resin (pref. prepared by addition of an alpha, beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid to e.g. a five-membered ring compound having conjugated double bond followed by esterification with a polyhydric alcohol). It is recommended that the component B be prepared by modification with e.g. a compound containing silicone component.</p> |
