PURPOSE:To contrive a higher printing quality, by a system wherein a printing timing is delayed when the moment of finishing an operation of a type-selecting mechanism is nearly the same as that of a transverse feeding mechanism, and the moment variations in a power source are reduced is made to be the printing timing. CONSTITUTION:A controlling circuit 1 supplies a type-selecting mechanism 2 and a transverse feeding mechanism 7 with operation-starting information. WIth the operation-starting information received by a servo circuit 3, the circuit 3 rotates a motor 5 through a driving circuit 4 according to information contained in the operation-starting information, thereby positioning a print wheel 6 to a predetermined rotating position. With a base 13 positioned, the servo circuits 3 and 8 output operation end signals to the controlling circuit 1. The circuit 1 determines a printing timing by judging the timings of receiving the operation end signals from the mechanisms 2, 7. Namely, when the moments of finishing the operations of the mechanisms 2, 7 are nearly the same, the printing timing is delayed behind the operation end signal received last, and in other cases, the moment the last operation end signal is received is made to be the printing timing. |
