PURPOSE:To keep drying conditions constant so as to achieve mixed production of multi-products on a single line, by moving a heater back and forth against a panel when a photosensitive resin coated panel of a color picture tube is heated to be dried. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive resin coated panel 1 of a color picture tube is mounted on a rotatable carrier head 2. Also, a heater 3 mounted on a heater support 5 and facing to the panel 1 is provided and is made moveable in an arrow direction A-A' by a servomotor 7. And the heater 3 is brought close to the panel when the panel is larger in size and in heat capacity, and kept at a distance when the panel is smaller in size and in heat capacity. Thus, a drying condition can be kept uniform for different products without changing an output of the heater 3 so that it may be possible to simplify the production of multi-products on a single line.
