PURPOSE:To reduce printing buildup quantity and to enhance the stability of ink, by preparing developing ink by using a benzoquinone derivative substituted with an electron withdrawing group, a glycol type solvent and pigment as essential components. CONSTITUTION:A benzoquinone derivative A substituted with an electron withdrawing group, a glycol type solvent B and pigment C are compounded as essential components and kneaded by a three-roll mill to prepare developing ink. This developing ink is subjected to letterpress printing or dry offset printing to prepare a developing sheet for pressure-sensitive copy paper. As the aforementioned component A, there is 2,5-dicyclohexyloxycarbonyl-3-p-tolylsulfonyl-1,4- benzoquinone and, as the component B, there is ethylene glycol and, as the component C, there are zinc oxide, titanium oxide or the like. Further, the ratio of the component A in the ink is pref. 10-20%. |
