To this end, according to the invention which is defined in the foregoing claims, there is provided a technical means wherein in weighing an object to be weighed in a weight measuring apparatus, when the weight of the object in a weighing hopper is detected by means of a strain sensor, the lid of the weighing hopper is opened by means of an opening/closing mechanism and a braking device provided on the frame is actuated by means of a predetermined signal through a controller to fix the strain sensor to the frame thereby to restrain the vibration generated owing to the discharge of the object from the weighing hopper as well as restrain also the vibration generated owing to the subsequent casting of the object into the weighing hopper and hold the strain sensor for a set time even after the casting for maintaining a stable condition, and thereafter, the braking device is released to restore the strain detecting function to the normal state for effecting the weight detection, thereby to overcome the above-mentioned problems of the prior art. |
