PURPOSE:To hold the high sensitivity of the titled material, and to improve the graininess and the raw preservation of the titled material by incorporating a specified compd. in at least one layer of photographic constituting layers having a silver halide emulsion layer contg. two-equivalent cyan coupler. CONSTITUTION:The titled material provides with the photographic constituting layer having at least one layer of the emulsion layers contg. the two-equivalent cyan coupler on a substrate body. At least one layer of the emulsion layers contains a compd. (DSR Compd.) capable of scavenging an oxidant by reacting with said oxidant of a developing agent or the compd. capable of releasing the precursor of the compd. The DSR compd. is shown by the formula SC-Coup wherein Coup is the residual group of the coupler capable of releasing SC by reacting with the oxidant of the developing agent, SC is the scavenger of the oxidant of the developing agent capable of scavenging the oxidant by effecting the oxidation-reduction reaction or the coupling reaction of the oxidant of the developing agent after releasing from the Coup.
