PURPOSE:To enable arrangement of a drive means in a laminated form and make the whole printing head compact by providing a flat plate-shaped drive means arranged in a laminated form having pins implanted along an oblique line to a movement direction. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of flat plate-shaped drive elements 2 are arranged in a laminated form so that printing wire may come into contact with a platen 1 vertically. When a piezoelectric actuator 2a extends in an arrow A direction, a lever 2c rotates to an arrow B direction, and at the same time, a lever 2c rotates to an arrow C direction. Subsequently, a hinge 2e is pulled to an arrow D direction, and at the same time, a hinge 2f is pushed to an arrow E direction. Then a lever at the tip 2g rotates to an arrow F direction and the printing wire 3 contacts the platen 1 to perform printing. It is possible to make the whole printing head compact by arrangement in a laminar form of the flat plate-shaped drive elements. |
