In hydraulic rotary drives in which gear motors are used and the oil lines of which are connected by way of quick-action couplings for rapid attachment and removal, the seal on the output shaft is destroyed and the oil escapes if the return is uncoupled during hydraulic pressurisation of the motor. In order to avoid this source of faults, the safety valve 3, provided downstream of the connector 2 of the quick-action coupling 1, is connected to the pressure line 4 by way of a connecting line 5 which is opened by way of a valve part 7 when the coupling socket 9 is uncoupled and is closed when the coupling socket is coupled up. <IMAGE>
