In a profile to join a coat of plaster, applied to a wall soffit, to frames, such as door or window frames, having an approximately U- shaped hollow profile, the height of which is chosen to correspond to the thickness of the coat of plaster and the width of which is chosen to correspond to the joint between the coat of plaster and frame, the outer leg (4) opposite the frame (20) is inclined at an obtuse angle of about 100 DEG to the fastening flange (3, 13). As a result of the outwardly inclined outer leg, the profile bears resiliently and thus positively and non-positively against an adjoining frame. The sealing action between the profile and the frame is thus improved to such an extent that stresses and strains between the profile and the frame are compensated. <IMAGE> |
