Cam appts. of a circular knitting machine is improved in the production of a knitted fabric combining a terry fabric with a triple knitted fabric. A cam system is newly designed, and an are ranging method of needles and cams is also renewed to provide a multiple knitted fabric with a quadruple effect. The circular knitting machine includes a number of cams (C3-1 etc.), a number of needles, and six thread feeders.
