A high-voltage transformer is specified which has a primary coil (3) and a secondary coil (4) in a coil housing (2). A supporting part (109a) is fitted to the coil housing (2) and has a high-voltage connection (109b) in order electrically to connect a lead wire (4a) of the secondary coil (4) to an external electrical device. The primary coil (3) and the secondary coil (4) are initially accommodated in the coil housing (2), and the lead wire (4a) of the secondary coil (4) is temporarily connected to the high-voltage connection (109b), while the supporting part (109a) is separated from the coil housing (2) and can be moved freely to a suitable location. The temporarily connected lead wire (4a) of the secondary coil (4) is then soldered to the high-voltage connection (109b). After this, the supporting part (109a), whose high-voltage connection is thus soldered to the lead wire of the secondary coil, is fitted on the coil housing (2). Finally, the coil housing (2) is filled with a resin (7) in order to fasten the primary coil (3), the secondary coil (4) and the supporting part (109a) securely to the coil housing (2) (Figure 4). <IMAGE>
