<p>PURPOSE:To enable an apparatus which facilitates initialization of a trap member and adjustment of an optical system, by winding a metal ribbon slidably on the side of a cooling head mounted on a very low temperature cooler to improve the reproducibility of a spectrum obtained. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cooling head 10 mounted on a very low temperature cooler and a metal ribbon 13 is wound slidably on the side of the cooling head 10. The metal ribbon 13 is delivered with a supply roller 14 and wound up with a takeoff roller 15. A nozzle 16 is provided close to the metal ribbon wound on the cooling head 10 to blow off a chromatograph gas. The metal ribbon 13 is provided with a Cassegrain mirror 19 to irradiate a sample portion trapped with infrared rays from an interference system of a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. A detector 20 is mounted on the cooling head 10 with a mounting base to cool it and is so positioned that the reflected rays of the infrared rays from the metal ribbon 13 are received directly not via a condenser mirror.</p> |
