The invention relates to a display for objects with elongated reception parts, e.g. screwdrivers, drills or the like, consisting of a baseplate with a box-shaped projecting structure open at the rear, the projecting structure having at least two side walls and in each case an upper and lower wall provided with reception openings for the reception part, and with a clamping member which can be inserted into the projecting structure from the rear, is deformable and is intended for fixing the reception part in the reception openings. To obtain a firm fit of the reception part in the projecting structure, the clamping member (11) has a passage (12) which is intended for reception of the reception part (10) and can be aligned with the reception openings (9), and the width of which, at least in the state of insertion into the projecting structure (2), is smaller than that of the reception part (10). In this arrangement, the clamping member (11) itself has such a width that, on introducing the reception part (10) into the passage (12), it is pressed between the side walls (3, 4) of the projecting structure and thereby grips around the reception part (10) in clamping fashion (Fig. 3). <IMAGE>
