A feeder screw 1 is intended to be fitted in the lower part of a container 2 for feeding powder material 3 from the container. The feeder screw 1 has a centre axle 6 of constant diameter, and a helical flange 7 which is connected to the centre axle and which has a constant external diameter and constant pitch. The feeder screw 1 also has a band 8 which is connected to the flange 7 and whose width decreases in the direction of feed P of the feeder screw. It is wound helically around the centre axle 6 in order to close off the spaces between adjacent helical turns of the flange 7 to a decreasing extent as seen in the direction of feed P of the feeder screw. <IMAGE> |
